Andorra
Andorra la Vella is the capital of Andorra, in the Pyrenees mountains between France and Spain. It’s known as a duty-free retail hub, with shops lining Meritxell Avenue.
Ax Les Thermes
An attractive mountain town well known as a spa destination and also popular in the summer as a base for walking and other outdoor activities.

Explore the medieval town of Baga in Spain, stop for a drink at Coll de Nargó in the Segre Valley, enjoy a traditional French breakfast in Mont-Louis, and explore the UNESCO citadel. Visit the capital of Andorra, discover the best shopping and historical sites the city has to offer, and savour an authentic Andorran lunch. You’ll also visit the beautiful village of Ax Les Thermes. Throughout the tour, enjoy local commentary from your Welcomer driver and feel free to ask any questions you may have.
Get your passport ready and prepare for a once-in-a-lifetime journey through three amazing countries in just one day! Leave Barcelona early in the morning and experience the best historical sites and popular landmarks in France, Spain, and Andorra. Although the tour is fully customisable, here's a suggested itinerary.
From Barcelona, your friendly driver will take you directly to the historical town of Baga, Spain, arriving around 8:30 AM. In this charming medieval town, you'll have the chance to visit the stunning St. Esteve de Bagà Church and stroll around the Plaça Porxada, the town’s central square dating back to the 13th century. Enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding Casi-Moixero mountains and capture some beautiful Spanish photographs.
Just a short journey across the border into France, you'll arrive at the walled town of Mont-Louis. Here, you can enjoy a traditional French breakfast, complete with croissants, pain au chocolat, and café au lait. Don’t miss the impressive fortified Citadel, designed by Vauban and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. While in Mont-Louis, you can also visit the world’s first-ever solar furnace, built by engineer Felix Trombe in 1949.
Leaving Mont-Louis around 11:00, your journey continues along the Pyrenees, a mountain range that forms the natural border between Spain and France. Next, you'll arrive in Andorra, at its capital, Andorra La Vella. Explore the charming architecture of the city, including the Església de Sant Esteve, a 12th-century Romanesque church located in Plaça del Príncep Benlloch. Take your time to admire the historic buildings and narrow streets before enjoying a traditional Andorran lunch. Your driver can recommend some great spots, or you can simply choose a restaurant as you explore.
After lunch, you’ll have some free time to shop in Andorra’s famous duty-free stores and pick up some unique souvenirs. If history piques your interest, you can also visit the Romanesque Church of St. Miguel d’Engolasters, located near the Madriu River.
Around 4:00 PM, your driver will take you back across the border into Spain for a brief stop at Coll de Nargó. Here, you can admire the beautiful Romanesque Church of San Clemente, dating back to the 11th century, and enjoy stunning views of the Segre Valley. Relax with a refreshing drink as the sun begins to set, before continuing your journey.
You’ll also have the option to visit Ax Les Thermes, an attractive mountain town known for its spas and outdoor activities, particularly in the summer.
By 7:00 PM, you’ll arrive back in Barcelona, just in time to unwind with some Spanish wine and tapas. Your driver will drop you off at your accommodation or any other location of your choice in the city.

An official tour guide is not included because the overall experience is centered around the driver and the local’s perspective. Although the drivers are very knowledgeable regarding the points of visit, at no point can they be compared with a licensed tour guide who can give more in depth information regarding historic facts and information. If you would like to include an official tour guide in the experience please let us know via email after the booking is completed.
