Admire the stunning 14th-century Gothic architecture, stroll through the historic Jewish Quarter, and explore the city's key historical landmarks. Upon arriving in the historic town of Girona – The Game of Thrones Town – your driver will take you to the picturesque Jewish Quarter. This is the perfect place to stretch your legs and admire the charming medieval streets. Here, you’ll find the traditional Arab Baths, the Gothic Collegiate Church of Sant Feliu, and the ancient Girona Cathedral. Climb the 86 steps of the cathedral to get an up-close view of the remarkable Catalan architecture created by Jaume Fabre.
Next, your driver will take you past the famous Onyar River, offering views of the colourful houses lining its banks. You may wish to stop for some iconic photos of Girona’s scenic riverside. The following stop is one of the city's most popular landmarks: the medieval City Walls. If time permits, you can walk the full length of the walls and climb the lookout towers, where you'll be treated to panoramic views of the city below.
As you approach the middle of your tour, you can take a break to enjoy a traditional Spanish lunch. Ask your driver for a restaurant recommendation, or take a leisurely stroll through the city centre to find a spot that suits your taste. Once you've replenished your energy, you can choose to continue exploring Girona or venture out to the nearby medieval towns of Pals and Peratallada.
Pals is a charming medieval village filled with cobbled streets, Gothic architecture, and lovely little cafés. While there, be sure to visit the renowned Roman-style Torre de les Hores, an impressive tower standing tall above the village. Peratallada, another exceptionally well-preserved feudal village, is famous for its stone buildings carved from the surrounding moat. It's the ideal place to relax and enjoy a coffee before heading back to Barcelona.
After exploring the beautiful villages of Pals and Peratallada, your driver will take you on a relaxed afternoon drive back to your accommodation in Barcelona, bringing your tour of Girona to a close.

If you would like to include an official tour guide in the experience please let us know via email after the booking is completed.
