Your first stop will be at the halfway point between the Peloponnese peninsula and the mainland, at the Corinth Canal. Completed in 1893, this colossal waterway divides the two gulfs and allows passage to even the largest of cargo ships. From the moveable bridge, you’ll be able to look down 80 metres to the sparkling water below—an ideal spot for some unforgettable photos. Be sure to ask your driver about the fascinating history and construction of this impressive canal.
After the Corinth Canal, your driver will take you through the scenic olive groves of the Peloponnese, heading to Ancient Corinth. This archaeological site was once one of the most important cities in the Classical world and is where St. Paul was inspired to write the First and Second Corinthians books in the New Testament. As you stroll through the Agora, be sure to visit the most significant monument of Ancient Corinth—the magnificent Temple of Apollo.
nce you’ve absorbed the incredible history of Ancient Corinth, you’ll head to the citadel of Mycenae, the legendary city of Agamemnon. Brimming with Greek history, Mycenae’s towering 20-foot-wide walls guard the entrance to the city. Walk through the famous Lion’s Gate, enter Agamemnon’s grand throne room, explore the tombs, and discover the fascinating museum on-site.
Your next stop will be the charming port town of Nafplio Old Town, where you can take a break from all the history and indulge in some shopping. This delightful town offers the perfect opportunity for a traditional Greek lunch at one of its many restaurants and cafes. Ask your driver for a local recommendation, or choose a spot that catches your eye. After lunch, take some time to wander through the picturesque Venetian quarter and admire the Castle of Palamidi, which sits majestically atop the surrounding hills, before returning to your vehicle for the next leg of your journey.
From Nafplio, you’ll travel back through the olive fields and orchards of the Peloponnese to the UNESCO-listed Theatre of Epidaurus. Nestled in a small valley, you’ll find the Shrine of Asklepios, the revered god of medicine. At the southeastern part of the site stands the Theatre of Epidaurus, one of the most visited historical monuments in Greece and a stunning example of 4th-century Greek architecture. You can also explore the numerous temples, hospital buildings, and the impressive Temple of Asklepios on-site.
If time allows, your driver will take you to one of Greece’s most renowned vineyards—the Nemea winery. Here, you’ll have the chance to tour the wine cellars, which house an impressive 1,000 French oak barrels. Sample some of Greece’s finest red wines while taking in the breathtaking views of the vineyards as the sun sets over the landscape.

Although the drivers are very knowledgeable regarding the points of visit, at no point can they be compared with a licensed tour guide who can give more in depth information regarding historic facts and information. If you would like to include an official tour guide in the experience please let us know via email after the booking is completed.
